1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Solve Games Guide. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our practice platform, including all simulators, case studies, calculators, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age.

2. Service Description

Solve Games Guide is a practice platform offering:

• Sea Wolf ecosystem game simulator
• Redrock case study library with analytical challenges
• Scoring calculator and solver tools
• Performance analytics and progress tracking

The Service is designed to help candidates prepare for consulting case interviews and assessment games. Results from our simulators do not guarantee performance in actual McKinsey assessments or job offers.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may only create one account per person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

4. Subscription & Payment Terms

Payment Structure

We offer one-time payment packages (not recurring subscriptions) for access to premium features. All payments are processed securely through a trusted third-party payment processor.

Access Duration

Access to purchased features is granted for a specified period based on your selected tier (typically 6 or 12 months from purchase date). After this period expires, you may purchase an extension or new package to continue access.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (£) and include applicable taxes where required. Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect purchases already made.

5. Access & Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable access to our Service, but we cannot guarantee:

• 24/7 availability or uninterrupted access
• Error-free operation
• Freedom from viruses or other harmful components
• That content will always be current or accurate

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, update, or discontinue features with or without notice
• Perform scheduled maintenance (we will attempt to provide advance notice)
• Limit access temporarily for technical reasons

6. User Conduct & Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use one account
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our content
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Circumvent payment systems or access controls
• Harass, abuse, or harm others through the Service
• Submit false information or impersonate others
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

All content, simulators, case studies, calculators, software, designs, graphics, text, and other materials provided through the Service are owned by Solve Games Guide or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

"McKinsey," "Solve Game," and related marks are trademarks of McKinsey & Company, Inc. Use of these terms is for descriptive purposes only and does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

License Grant: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes during your access period. This license does not include any right to:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works
• Distribute, sell, or sublicense the content
• Use the content for commercial purposes
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Warranties that the Service will meet your requirements or expectations
• Warranties regarding exam success, job offers, or specific outcomes

No Guarantee of Results: Use of our Service does not guarantee success in McKinsey assessments, consulting interviews, or job applications. Our simulators provide educational practice but are not official McKinsey materials and may differ from actual assessments.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
• We shall not be liable for lost opportunities, lost profits, loss of data, business interruption, or exam failures
• Our total liability to you for all claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for access to the Service

Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, network infrastructure failures, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

Note: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

Your Rights: You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page or by contacting us. Please note that account deletion does not entitle you to a refund.

Our Rights: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the Service or other users
• Non-payment or payment disputes
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you will immediately lose access to the Service and any content associated with your account. No refunds will be provided for early termination due to Terms violations.

11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Informal Resolution: Before pursuing formal legal action, we encourage you to contact us at support@solvegamesguide.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you via email to your registered email address
• Display a prominent notice on the Service

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.

13. Miscellaneous

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Solve Games Guide regarding the Service.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account to any other person or entity. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
